The new Mahogany Steel Folk showcases a carved mahogany body with solid mahogany soundboard and a mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard. The combination produces warm, sweet tones with impressive sustain and great dynamics for such a slim instrument. Like its nylon stringed cousin, The Hispania Folk Steel features Katoh’s SG1 Digital Smart electronics, with reverb, delay, and EQ that works seamlessly with piezo transducer and on-board microphone, elevating this instrument to a whole new level.
