The 16-ply Gretsch Mahogany/Maple Snare Drum collection gives you the best of both worlds…the sound and feel of Mahogany, and the sound and feel of Maple. The assortment will cover any sound and musical preference you have. The 8 plies of maple and sharp 30 degree bearing edge really shine on the 6x13” and 5x14”, both have a very cutting and powerful back beat with just the right amount dark undertone, thanks to the mahogany.
