Its darker overtones, superb resonance, and fat attack are only augmented by its stave construction, thick reinforcement ring, 3mm triple-flanged hoops, and 30° bearing edges. Tilco snare wires, and Gretsch's newly designed full-range throw off and butt plate round out this stellar stave snare drum.
